Tiniest Surgery Patient Ever, A Goldfish, Successfully Has Tumor Removed

A goldfish weighing just one gram, that goes by the name Molly, has become the UK's smallest surgery patient EVER.

When Molly's owners noticed a massive lump on Molly's abdomen, they rush her to the Highcroft Vets, in Bristol, where it was discovered that Molly has a tumor and then the staff suggested surgery.

The emergency surgery lasted about 40 minutes and they successfully removed the mass -- Molly woke up after the procedure and was taken home!

According to the staff at Highcroft Vets, Molly is officially their smallest patient to date! They normally operate on the likes of iguanas, snakes, and crocodiles.
